NASA Board Meeting Minutes
Meeting opened at
Minutes were
approved – 1st Terri Hayden and 2nd Jason Morgan
Members present
: RJ McCarey, Kevin Rhoads, Kayla Dungan,
Tricia Maher, Sandy Scotton, Jason Morgan, Scott Brown, Kendall Miller, Terri
Hayden, Lee Cochran, Risa Bazal, Greg Forsyth, Carey Jordan, Kevin Engel, Jared
Bazal, Rod Roskilly.
Secretary’s
Report

Registration
– Tricia Maher
Final rosters will
be available mid-March. There are 3 players on waiting list for U-14.

Report

He hasn’t heard
back from Magnum Muffler.
Field painting
will be scheduled.
Game Day Notes
will be posted to website. Terri will send concession stand schedule to add to
game notes.
DIRECTOR REPORTS
Fields
– Lee Cochran (no report)
This season we
will move Field 1 posts to another field. There is enough paint; however, we
need to order game balls. Rick Elliott has been hired to paint the fields this
season. Painting fields will take place March 22nd and March 29th
(rain date).
Referees
– Kendall Miller
Kendall will have
a scheduling meeting with referees one week before the season begins. Kendall
mentioned that Coach Edwards has a set of small portable goals that belong to
NASA. It was suggested that maybe the U8 team could use the goals.
Small Sided
– Jason Morgan/ co-chair Scott Brown
Jason reported
that he is waiting for the U-10 schedule.
Concessions
– Terri Hayden
Terri will clean
out the Pepsi coolers. We now own a refrigerator. Orders will still be thru
Hy-Vee. Terri encouraged the coaches to promote the concession stand by using
player tickets for snack and drinks after the games.
Publicity

Webmaster
– Risa Bazal
Coaches should
contact Risa for information to log onto team websites.
Additional
comments
:
Remind
parents/coaches/guests there is no parking along the street near the soccer
fields at Agnes Patterson.
Remember to share
the practice fields.
The nets on
practice fields will be checked. Maybe move over old game nets.
U-8 nets cost $44
each
Nets on the south
field by the football stadium need to be checked.
ID cards used in
the fall will also be used in the spring. Only new players will receive ID
cards.
Any unused
shirts/balls/other equipment should be brought to paint day.
